McKinnon Creek Trail

The McKinnon Creek Trail is the City’s right of way used as a .5 mile pedestrian trail located in a forested area about half a mile northwest of City Hall. The trail begins at the end of NE 184th Street and concludes at the Lake Forest Park Water District fence. The trail follows McKinnon Creek, a tributary to Lyon Creek.

Construction began in 2013 and continued through February 2014 which included planned minimal long-term maintenance with the help of Lake Forest Park volunteers.

Hours and Rules

The trail is open to public, dawn to dusk. Dogs must be kept on leashes.
