The Lake Forest Park Police Department is committed to responding to all requests for identifiable public records in a timely manner. 

Process to Request Police Records

To obtain a copy of a LFPPD report, manual, or other document, please use the following procedures.

RCW 42.56.520 stipulates the department must respond within five business days of receiving a request, either with the requested records or an estimated time when records will be made available to the requestor. Please be aware there may be fees associated with certain records; see the city's fee schedule for more.

Since November 2023, the Lake Forest Park Police Department contracts with NORCOM 911 for Dispatch services. If you would like a copy of 911/Radio audio or a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) Log, please make a request through NORCOM's Public Records Request Center.
