  • Political signs may be placed on public rights-of-way or on private property with permission of the owner. However, they must be situated in such a way so as to not create a traffic or safety hazard. All political signs must be removed within five days following the election.

  • Sandwich board signs (also known as "A-boards") are allowed only for special events, including sales and grand openings. These signs may not exceed 12 square feet per side, block sidewalks, bike trails, or driveways, and should not be placed in street medians. Balloons, flags, festoons, pennants, and the like may not be attached to any sandwich board sign. Sandwich board signs must be placed on the ground; they cannot be elevated or suspended above the ground.

  • Yes. Real estate properties are allowed to display one sign per street frontage, not to exceed six square feet and six feet in height. One open house sign per street frontage is also permitted. A maximum of four open house signs are permitted in the right of way between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm for up to two days, given that the signs are not in the way of travel and do not create a traffic or safety hazard. Signs must be removed within five days of the property being closed, leased, or rented, as the case may be.
