Ellyn Saunders was elected to the City Council in 2024. Ellyn Saunders was raised in a U.S. military family and moved overseas and all across the United States before settling in Washington State.

Education and Professional Experience

Ellyn Saunders attended Shoreline Community College and graduated with an AND degree. She has been a Registered Nurse for nearly 25 years, working her entire career at the University of Washington Medical Center-Montlake. Before transferring to her current assignment in the PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit), Ellyn worked in the Cardiothoracic ICU for 10 years.
