Jon Lebo was first elected to the City Council in 2022. He grew up in Lake Forest Park, attending Lake Forest Park Elementary, Kellogg Middle School and graduating from Shorecrest High School. He was a high school exchange student to Brazil. Jon moved to Seattle for college, then to Shoreline to start his family. He moved back to Lake Forest Park in 2009. Jon and his wife, a substitute teacher in the Shoreline School District, have three sons. His sons also attended Shoreline public schools, graduating from Shorecrest High School.

Education and Professional Experience

Jon Lebo graduated from the University of Washington with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Architectural Studies and Building Construction. He is a licensed architect. Jon retired as a Director of Capital Projects after 29 years with the University of Washington. His work focused on teaching, laboratory, recreational and residential facilities, and historic preservation. He currently works at Sound Transit as the Executive Project Director on the $3.7 billion East Link Extension light rail project.
